Life hacks for home managers..” This is the flagship blog of the network, and remains the blog with the highest traffic, subscribers, and exposure.

The blog’s tagline is “Uncomplicated parenting in a complicated world.”

New Blogs for 2010
We’re happy to announce the launch of three new blogs to the SLM family! They are:
1. SimpleBites.net
This will be a blog dedicated to all things food and drink. With the unique angle of simple, we will provide recipes, meal plans, cooking tips and ideas, and share stories of food successes and mishaps. It will be a family-oriented blog, though we want to expand our readers’ horizons with more than just chicken nuggets and mac n’ cheese. One of our non-negotiables will be an emphasis on eating real, whole food and cooking seasonally and locally.
2. SimpleOrganic.net
This is a blog about sustainable living. It will cover everything from green tips and trends, to tutorials on repurposing items via crafting and creating. While we’ll keep up with environmental policies, our voice will be a more positive, family-friendly one, geared to the average home manager interested in “greenifying” their home and lifestyle. Our emphasis will be on highlighting the growing handmade trend, and our main goal will be to show that becoming more eco-wise really is family-friendly and simple.
3. SimpleHomeschool.net
Homeschooling’s popularity is growing by leaps and bounds, and gone is the stereotype that families who homeschool are sheltered, uncultured, and hyper-conservative. There aren’t many strong voices in the online homeschooling community that encourage and promote simple living and educating well. We want to provide a place for those interested in homeschooling to find answers to their questions, to bounce ideas off one another, and to showcase the successes of the families who are doing it well. Mostly, we want to be a place where readers can be encouraged and inspired in their homeschooling endeavors.
